Past Award Recipients

The PAA Distinguished Alumni of the Year and the Royal Morales Community Achievement awards were established in 2001 to recognize UCLA alumni who have made outstanding contributions to the university and to the UCLA Pilipino community.

The Alumni of the Year Award honors an alumnus whose personal or professional achievements have been of such exceptional merit as to bring tremendous honor and distinction to UCLA and its Pilipino community.

The Royal Morales Community Achievement Award pays tribute to the legacy of our beloved Uncle Roy by recognizing an alumnus, faculty member, staff member or community friend who has made extraordinary contributions to UCLA and the UCLA Pilipino community which exemplify the spirit and purpose of the university and of PAA.
