Call for Nominations, 2022-2024 Board of Directors

Hello fellow Bruins! The UCLA Pilipino Alumni Association (PAA) is currently accepting nominations for members of our Board of Directors for the 2022-2024 term. The Board of Directors will be selected by commitment and interest, and not for specific positions. The Board of Directors of PAA are to work together to meet the mission of PAA by sharing leadership roles to execute events, programs, and activities.

Incoming PAA Board of Directors will serve a two-year term that will end on June 30, 2024. All nominees must submit their applications by Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at 11:59PM.

The following criteria is necessary to be given consideration for a Board of Director:

• Be a UCLA graduate or UCLA Extension certificate holder;
• Provide the following information on the nominee form:
  • First and last name
  • Primary address
  • Graduation year & Degree Type
  • Contact information (at least email)
  • Answer these questions
• Submit resume to uclapaa@gmail.com

One must complete a nomination form to be considered to be on the ballot.

• Board of Directors: Self-Nomination Form

Names of nominees will be collected by the UCLA Alumni Association. The returning Board of Directors, with the support of the UCLA Alumni Association and the PAA Community Advisory Board, will be organizing the PAA elections. The timeline is as follows:

• PAA, with support from the PAA Community Advisory Board, will review all nominees.
• If the nominee is deemed eligible, we will confirm the nominee’s interest via email and assess all candidates via interviews. Interviews will be conducted from June 18 to June 19, 2022.
• Candidates who have been assessed will be placed on the ballot and elections will happen from June 20 to July 1, 2022.
• The Elected Board of Directors will be notified on Tuesday, July 5, 2022.
