UCLA/Cal Alumni Book Club: "Dream Town," by Laura Meckler

The New York Tri-State Alumni (and Cal Alumni) Book Club begins its February session by asking the following question: Can a group of well-intentioned people fulfill the promise of racial integration in America?

The answer lies within the pages of "Dream Town: Shaker Heights and the Quest for Racial Equity," by Laura Meckler.
