When it comes to service, both to UCLA and the University of California system, Judy is in a class by herself. Only the second woman to serve as president of the Alumni Association, she is the only one – male or female – to have served two terms as a regent of the University of California. No other past president has been as intimately involved with the selections of a university president, a UCLA chancellor and an Association executive director.
