Teresa Valenzuela is director of the UCLA Alumni Association’s social media with more than 23 years of professional experience in student affairs, student services, alumni outreach and communications.
As part of the team, Teresa interacts with alumni, students, parents and friends of UCLA on alumni social media channels through posts, outreach and engagement campaigns.
Teresa’s areas of expertise include outreach and engagement, volunteer management, event coordination, communications, and social and digital media management.
She is a member of the Prytanean Alumnae Association and Gold Shield Alumnae. She is former president of the Latino Staff and Faculty Association and an active volunteer with UCLA Staff Assembly.
Teresa earned her bachelor of arts degree in English literature and Spanish literature at UCLA, a master of arts degree in human development at Pacific Oaks College in Pasadena and received a certificate in print journalism from UCLA Extension
