Yvonne (Bonnie) A. Maldonado '77, MD, is Professor and Chief of the Division of Infectious Diseases, Department of Pediatrics at Stanford University School of Medicine. She is also the Senior Associate Dean for Faculty Development and Diversity at the Stanford School of Medicine. Dr. Maldonado attended Stanford University School of Medicine and UCLA as an undergraduate student.

Matthew Rios '20 obtained his degree in neuroscience and minored in global health at UCLA. He is currently a second-year medical student at the Charles R. Drew/UCLA Medical Education Program where he is involved in the medical student council and Latino Medical Student Association (LMSA). His clinical interests include pediatrics, psychiatry, internal medicine and medical education.

Each session will cover topics such as: the career decision-making process, specific program entry requirements, a day in the life of students and/or professionals and more!
